GLENN DANZIG Contributes New Song To 'The Hangover Part II' Soundtrack
April 13, 2011Glenn Danzig has contributed a brand new song to the soundtrack of the new film "The Hangover Part II". Director Todd Phillips and music supervisor George Drakoulius asked if the one-time MISFITS frontman would write a new track for the sequel to the blockbuster dark comedy that featured Danzig's version of the song Glenn wrote for Johnny Cash, "Thirteen". Danzig agreed and the result is the lead track "Black Hell".
"The Hangover Part II" is scheduled to arrive May 26. The film will feature much of the cast from the first movie, including Ed Helms, Bradley Cooper, Zack Galifianakis and Justin Bartha. However, Phillips couldn't find room for Heather Graham, who married Helms' character, Stu, in the original.
In "The Hangover Part II", Phil (Bradley Cooper),Stu (Ed Helms),Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) travel to exotic Thailand for Stu's wedding. After the unforgettable bachelor party in Las Vegas, Stu is taking no chances and has opted for a safe, subdued pre-wedding brunch. However, things don't always go as planned. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can't even be imagined.
